I am a Gaia-driven, ‘stream of consciousness’, artist. I engage with my ability to create as a connective, spiritual, personal-healing, practice. Connecting deeply with the land around, natural forms and materials form the basis of my work.
I work in whatever medium the muse dictates (e.g. mud, charcoal, natural pigments, wasp paper, dried flowers..) but also enjoy creating expressions in various digital art forms too (video, gifs and mandalas). Using my blog as a ‘virtual gallery’, I share my ‘experiments’ with a wider, global, audience. Last year I exhibited in a self-built, tiny, mobile, studio/gallery trailer, the 'Gaia-Hut', for the first time. It was great success! In spring/summer 2021 I hope to get out and about in it more, so look out for me in local lay-bys and beauty spots! You would be very welcome to pop your head in!
