Carol Graham - Barfad Hats and Snoods

Picture
My Mum taught me to knit when I was very wee, I assumed everybody could knit and so was very surprised when people started asking me if I would knit things for them.

This probably happened because I like to knit in those 'in between times': on trains, waiting at stations, waiting around for my son at sailing clubs, waiting for family to get ready, waiting in hospital waiting rooms... Such places are often public and knitting often leads to chat, which is a bonus I enjoy.

Making small things lends itself to knitting on the move - so everything I make for Barfad Hats and Snoods is easily tucked into a rucksack.
