Taking inspiration from the beauty of surrounding landscapes, Cathy is a local multi-media artist who enjoys exploring using different methods of printing and painting to create pieces that reflect the richness of nature, wildlife and environment. Her work plays with both colour and texture, creating contemporary individual pieces, as well as print series. Following in the footsteps of her Mum who was an established artist based in the Lake District, Cathy discovered her love for art 17 years ago when she inherited her Mum’s art supplies and began experimenting. Cathy has lived in Craignish for over 20 years and is an active member of the local community. She has opened a small gallery space at home which you are very welcome to visit.
