Scotland's 'Street Orchestra' the Nevis Ensemble will be at Craignish Village Hall on Sunday August 5th on its 70-performance tour of public and community venues for Festival 2018.
The 40 musicians are some of Europe’s most talented orchestral players; enjoy the world premiere of a new commission from Matthew Grouse (2018 New Music Scotland award winner) of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, as well as music by Beethoven, Stravinsky and Debussy, mixed in with some pop songs, jazz tunes, and some good Scottish favourites – with a salsa twist.
