20th October, Craignish Village Hall
Iain Thomson and Marc Duff are coming to play at the Craignish Village Hall as part of their summer tour.
Iain, often known as “the singing shepherd”, is described as a man who writes contemporary songs with a traditional twist. His songs and tunes set amidst the changing face of rural Argyll move the hearts and souls of his audiences.
He combines this with the wonderful talents of Marc Duff best known for his outstanding musicianship as a co-founding member of the notable celtic band Capercaillie.
This all makes for an enjoyable, inspiring evening of music, story and song.
A contemporary folk singer and songwriter, whose work I happen to think has a very special edge to it.
Mike Harding BBC Radio2
Tickets £10 (full price) and £8 (under 18) on the door. BYOB
