Scottish Opera at the Village Hall

“Each year Scottish Opera takes four singers and a pianist out and about around Scotland, travelling the highways and byways, by land, air and sea, to take a musical mix of operatic highlights to some of the country’s smallest and most remote venues.

Come February, we’ll be packing our van with props and costumes to bring you a fun filled evening of music and good company. Whether you’re new to opera or a seasoned fan, there’s sure to be something for you, be it a tune you’re discovering for the first time or an old favourite you’ll be humming all the way home.

Touring to 18 theatres, village halls and community centres all over Scotland, this piano-accompanied tour features the vocal talents of soprano Filipa van Eck, mezzo soprano Samantha Price, tenorAnthony Flaum (Macbeth 2014)and 2013 Kathleen Ferrier Song Prize winner baritone Johnny Herford”.
